Whereas, the 10th Annual Kids Day America/International event will take place in Henderson, Nevada on Saturday, September 18, 2004; and

Whereas, this special day will serve to address health, safety and environmental issues that affect all Nevadans and Americans; and

Whereas, educating families and communities is essential in order to raise awareness of important social concerns; and

Whereas, responsible health, safety and environmental habits are vital to maintaining fit, productive lifestyles that will foster growth and development; and

Whereas, the safety of our children is a significant concern for parents, community leaders, and health care givers; and

Whereas, the State of Nevada commends all those who take part in this endeavor, as their involvement positively contributes to the advancement and development within our communities;
