A PROCLAMATION
KIDS DAY AMERICA
Whereas, Children are Georgia's most treasured resource, and providing for their health, safety, education and future opportunities remains one of our hiqhest priorities and responsibilitres: and
Whereas, The health and well-being of Georgia's children is vital to the welfare of our state. Taking care of our children is everyone's responsibility; and
Whereas, When started in early childhood, proper health and safety habits can be maintained for a lifetime, thus producing valued members of society and enhancing our community overall; now
Therefore, I, SONNY PERDUE, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim September 18, 2004, as KIDS DAY AMERICA in Georgia.
In witness thereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the Executive Department to be affixed this 10th day of September in the Year of our Lord two thousand four.
